David Butler

David Butler holds the Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS), the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC) from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and is a member of the CII, The Personal Finance Society and The Society of Mortgage Professionals for Mortgage and Equity release advice (Certs (MP & ER) and is currently completing his studies and examinations to become a Chartered Financial Planner.

David has been a financial adviser since 1992 and worked with some of the major life assurance, pension and investment companies prior to joining Portlethen Financial Services in 2002.

Out of the office David enjoys keeping fit and enjoys getting into the hills for a walk, running and spending time at the gym. David is on the organising committee of the Chapelton of Elsick 10K an annual race which raises funds for local community groups and charity.
